Founder's Story
Hello Hi, Bonjour, Salut! I’m Lynne, the founder of Lynglish.
I was born and raised in London, UK, but have always been deeply connected to my Ivorian roots. So much so that in 2019, I moved to Ivory Coast with a mission to make a positive contribution to the empowerment and development of my people.
Not knowing where to start, I took a job with a Taiwanese company at the bustling port of Abidjan. As I connected with people, I realised they couldn't get enough of my British accent. They were intrigued by my English skills and knowledge and constantly quizzed me about the language and its culture. I discovered that my superpower was in fact English!

And that's when it hit me and I created Lynglish—a platform with fun, informative, and creative resources—to share my English language expertise. My ultimate goal? To promote English in Francophone regions by delivering specialised knowledge on language and culture. After all, in this globalised world, English is the universal language that connects us all.

At Lynglish, our mission is to empower Francophone africans by providing and promoting English language services that are accessible, effective, and enjoyable.
